GENERATION IV

S PECIFICATION

C onnector fittings with SAE internal threads for flared joints with pressed-in copper sealing ring T he European standard 378 for refrigeration systems and heat pumps requires in part 2 a sufficient number of stop valves in order to reduce the risk of loss of refrigerant to a minimum. Companion valves of Generation I consist of a pair of mating self-closing stop valves. Their use reliably prevents the escape of refrigerants, especially during maintenance. P ossibility of a simple and timesaving change of location without expensive equipment and at minimized refrigeration losses S aving of time and technical equipment at installations of new facilities as well as at the maintenance P reventing the often complete refrigeration loss in case of an improper disassembly or maintenance by not certified persons or enterprises (cf. VO (EU) no. 517/2014) R epeated coupling and decoupling without evacuation / refilling of components and without lengthy interruptions to the functions of the refrigerant and air conditioning systems I ndustrially manufactured flare connectors rule out errors during assembly and guarantee high reliability and minimal leakage rates. T he unique design enables the stop valves to be properly and correctly coupled without the use of torque wrenches and prevents inadvertant uncoupling. R eduction of effort in case of guarantee or warranty or at the replacement of components T he latest generation has been developed for universal use with nominal sizes up to NPS 1.0 and variable connector options. G eneration IV, like Generation II/III is characterized by excellent tightness in the coupled and especially also in the decoupled state of the stop valves. This means that long storage times can be achieved for system components that have already been evacuated or pre-filled.
